Rhodes Plant & Excavations is a Hamilton-based civil and earthworks company, trusted on commercial and development projects across the Waikato and Bay of Plenty since 2017. This is who we are, what we stand for, and who you'll be dealing with.
WHO WE ARE
A civil contractor built for commercial scale.
A builder-turned-operator started Rhodes in 2017 doing footings for people he knew. A couple of thousand jobs later, we're the civil contractor that tier-one head contractors and private developers call when they want the whole scope carried by one crew: demolition, earthworks, drainage and cartage, with GPS machine control on every digger and a plan on the table before the price.

Cameron Rhodes
Director & Construction Manager
Founder of Rhodes and a builder by trade. Cameron's speciality is civil earthworks, and his building background means he reads a site the way the next trade will. He still fronts the tenders, the methodologies and the post-job debriefs personally.
Greig Gonano
Director/Owner
Twenty-five years in business and the level head in the room. Greig came on board in 2021 and looks after the commercial side, and when something needs sorting, he's the one who sorts it quickly and calmly.
